today was a pretty low key day. josh worked from home again in the afternoon so i could get to another dr appointment. this appointment popped my "spa" bubble since i was left waiting nearly two hours in an office that could have doubled as an ice box...though it was nice to wait two hours without anyone whining, running away, or generally misbehaving :-)
while josh was on duty, he got busy on a work issue and looked up to find that quinn had taken some creative liberties...with the couch, the wall, and THE CAT. i came home to find that la fu has a couple of blue spots to go with his beautiful orange spots. ahem. thank god for non-toxic markers!
in other random la fu news, we can now hear our sweet kitty purring. he has had some severe respiratory issues since he came home, and he's finishing up his fourth week of antibiotics. this last round has really done the trick. la fu's mommy gave me some great advice...give la fu his meds in pill form (i had chosen liquid, which didn't work out so well). the waffle kitty takes his pills very well, and since he is getting the full dosage of his meds, he is finally 95% clear. we now know that he has a very enthusiastic purr...if he was a car engine, he'd sound like a 454 with glass packs. i love it!!!
speaking of taking liberties...josh took the liberty of snapping a picture of me sleeping! well, okay, he was actually taking a picture of my cuddle cat snuggled up with me. la fu does this a lot...sleeps on me in a modified vertical position. he also often sits up like a gigantic squirrel, and he looks very comfy doing that.
la fu sportin' his kitty tat...i am sure he will have it licked off by tomorrow and will not be subject to ridicule when he's 70 in cat years ;-0
Awww!! Poor La Fu--but Quinn was trying to make him looking styled!! :D
