livie had off from school today b/c it's a teacher work day, so we kept it really loose and low key. we went on an adventure to find an indoor playroom, but we didn't find it, so we went to a park instead and looked around in some interesting street markets.
while we were at the playground, we noticed a cat who was scampering all about trying to get birds. she raced up one tree, back down, and up another in the blink of an eye. she wore a collar and tag, but did not seem to be very domesticated. as hard as she worked at it, she did not catch a bird while we were there.
while we were at the park, we had an interesting experience with a local woman who approached us and began talking to us in chinese. she talked to us for several minutes, but i didn't understand a word she said. i think the gist was that she thought livie was pretty, should have her hair up, and was too hot, but i'm not entirely sure.
